Konami have revealed details on the Collector’s Edition of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance at the San Francisco Gamer’s Night. The package includes the game, a soundtrack, and something inexplicably unexpected and awesome.
You will also receive a “high frequency plasma lamp” that resembles Raiden’s blade. Undoubtedly the plasma represents electricity that runs through his sword in the game. Also, the Metal Gear spin-off’s new tagline is now “lightning bolt action”, as opposed to the “tactical espionage action” that the mainline entries carry.
Konami also revealed the Zone of the Enders Collector’s Edition, again featuring the game and soundtrack as well as a special 100-page art book.
No pricing details were given for either game.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Revengeance is now set to be PS3 exclusive in Japan, and some bosses were revealed in the game’s latest trailer. A demo of Metal Gear Rising will feature on the ZOE HD collection.
There’s been even more Metal Gear news outside of Revengeance, for those of you not too keen on Raiden’s new venture. Metal Gear Solid 4 was patched with trophy support, the movie is now officially in production, we’ve had plenty of coverage of new open-world instalment Ground Zeroes and a new trailer is online for the iOS spin-off Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops.
Will you be picking up these Collector’s Editions?
