For all my fellow Irishmen out there I have some awesome news for you.

EA create 300 jobs in Galway IrelandEA will be expanding operations in Galway, Ireland at their European Customer Experience Centre of Excellence and so they can extened their already brilliant multi language support system. Through this expansion, they are looking to add 300 new jobs at the facility, a great thing for the economy to be sure.

EA’s COO Peter Moore was on hand with Taoiseach Enda Kenny, T.D. to officialy begin the Galway operation today and said: “The EA European Customer Experience Centre is the focal point of our strategy to serve gamers on a global basis. In today’s fast-moving digital environment, we need to engage with our worldwide customer base on a 24/7 basis, across all of EA’s games and services and in multiple languages.”

When questioned about his reasons for choosing Galway as the location, he had this to say:

“Galway met all of our criteria: the availability of a young educated workforce; an attractive lifestyle in the city for young workers; our ability to get in and train people; and government support for the jobs,” Moore said.

This expansion comes in thanks to an investment by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.
