A new One Piece video game has been announced earlier today.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is the third entry of the One Piece Pirate Warriors series developed by Omega Force and published by Bandai Namco. The Japanese company has confirmed that the new entry of the series will be released on PlayStation 4 as well as PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, making the game the first One Piece title releasing on a new generation console.
Unfortunately details are scarce at the moment and the only magazine scan available doesn’t include much with the exception of a few screenshots. Bandai Namco Games, however, has confirmed that more on the game, as well as the first trailer, will be released during the Tokyo Game Show 2014.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 has been released last year on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, with the latter having only being released in Japan. The game features a gameplay experience not too different from the previous title and other Dynasty Warriors spin-off titles, with a huge and diverse character roster and plenty of enemies to defeat.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The game has yet to be confirmed for the West but there’s a good chance that it will be released in North America and Europe too.
