Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition Doesn’t Pass Sony Certification Test
Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition, one of the new console versions of the popular game created by Mojang, hasn’t passed Sony certification test, the team announced.
On 4J Studios official Twitter Profile, the team has confirmed that Sony found some issues in the game that have to be fixed. The team is already hard at work on fixing them but the game will have to go through testing again, further delaying its release. With Minecraft PS4 having to go through the whole process again, it doesn’t look like it will be released before the end of the month.
Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4 :( We're fixing, but we need to go through the process again.

This is definitely a shame. Many fans of the game were happy to know last week that Minecraft PS4 had been handed to Sony for final testing, which meant that the game could still be released during August, like originally scheduled.
Minecraft is now available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The highly anticipated PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One versions have been originally scheduled for an August release but it doesn’t really seem likely at this point. We will keep you updated on the matter as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news and updates.
