A new screenshot is now available for Super Smash Bros, the new entry of the Super Smash series launching before the end of the year on Wii U and 3DS in all regions.
The new screenshot, posted as usual by Masahiro Sakurai on Miiverse, showcases one of the assist trophies of the game, Takamaru from Mysterious Murasame Castle.
Pic of the day. I, Takamaru, have waited many years to appear in Super Smash Bros.! Link, Samus, Pit, and I debuted in the same year! Multidirectional Pinwheel Knife Rook Attack!! (FYI, I’m an Assist Trophy.)
The latest Super Smash Bros screenshots released last week showcased the main menu of the 3DS version of the game. The screenshots also revealed some options that have to be yet fully detailed.
Super Smash Bros is going to be released on Nintendo 3DS on October 3rd, with the Wii U release coming sometime during Winter 2014. Both games include the same character roster and a few different features like stages and more. The 3DS version also includes a new single player mode, the full multiplayer experience and more. This version of the game is also going to be technically impressive, running at 60 frames per second even with the 3D on. The frame rate will drop to 30 FPS for assists and Pokémon.
