Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC Packs Now Available For Free On Xbox Live

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the Platinum Games developed action game based on the Metal Gear series released last year on consoles, has also received some DLC packs which expand the gameplay experience with new VR Missions and two new playable characters.

If you have the game for Xbox 360 and have yet to purchase any of the DLC packs for it, you will be happy to know that you can get them for free on Xbox Live.

Among the DLC packs released for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance the more interesting one is definitely the Jestream Sam one, which allows gamers to control the character. Sam controls somewhat differently from Raiden, further expanding the gameplay experience of the excellent Platinum Games title.

Metal Gear Rising was originally in development by Kojima Production. The team, however, failed to create a compelling experience based on the slashing mechanics. Platinum Games was later approached about the game and the rest is history, as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is definitely one of the best action games released in the past console generation thanks to is excellent gameplay experience.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is now available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The PC version includes some improvements and features not available in the console versions.
