Some new screenshots have emerged today for Final Fantasy Explorers, the action role playing game based on the Final Fantasy series launching this Winter in Japan on Nintendo 3DS.
The new screens, which can be found at the end of this post, showcase the Freelancer Job, which is the basic Job of the game. One of the screenshots also shows the equipment pieces that can be created by using parts and items dropped by the enemies.
Earlier this month, Square Enix confirmed that the Final Fantasy Explorers Job System will be somewhat different from the one of previous entries of the series. The tweaks done to the system have been made so that players can have more freedom in customizing their characters.
It’s already been confirmed that Final Fantasy Explorers will include all the Jobs that Final Fantasy fans expect to see in the game, as well as some brand new ones that have been created just for the game. This, coupled with the many abilities and equipment pieces included in the game, will allow gamers to customize their characters quite a lot.
Final Fantasy Explorers will be released this Winter in Japan. The game has yet to be announced for the West but the recent trademark filing seems to suggest that the game will eventually be released in North America and Europe.
