Borderlands fans who are eagerly awaiting the next instalment will love the new “Come and Get Me” trailer Gearbox just released.
A man called Handsome Jack narrates the trailer and he will be the villain of Borderlands 2. Five years have passed since the first game and Handsome Jack has taken the credit for all the stuff the vault hunters did as well as the wealth of the vault. This allowed him to take over the Hyperion Corporation and as a result rule over Pandora.
The trailer shows the different classes in action, a heap of guns being used and of course a fair bit of violence. Handsome Jack taunts the Vault Hunters calling them “pathetic idiots,” which of course makes fans even more excited to play Borderlands 2 just so they can take him down.
Yet, Handsome Jack clearly seems to think he cannot be beaten, and shows no sign of backing down to the Vault Hunters.
“Do you have any idea how much fire power you’re going to need to take me down? A lot… a whole god damn lot.” – Handsome Jack.
Of course the trailer shows that there will be a “whole god damn lot” of fire power available to players. As fans of the first game will know, weapons are not scarce in the land of Pandora and Borderlands 2 promises to be the same.
However, the end of the trailer does show the task of taking down Handsome Jack will not be easy, even with the abundant amount of weapons available.
Fans will get the chance to take on Handsome Jack and a heap of other baddies when Borderlands 2 is released September 18 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
