PlayStation Vita owners all over the world have found a really nice surprise this morning when accessing the PlayStation Store from their console. Apparently, all the PlayStation One Classics and PSP titles have appeared on the PlayStation Vita Store.
This is quite interesting as even games that are supposedly not compatible with PlayStation Vita are now available for purchase. Also, all the PS One Classics that required a PS3-PS Vita transfer, like the original Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, are now available for purchase. These titles will most likely work when downloaded straight from the PlayStation Vita Store.
Some NeoGaf users have also been able to take some screenshots to prove that previously available titles can now be downloaded. You can take a look at them by going at the end of this post.
Sony has yet to say anything about the matter at the time of writing. Since this could be a mistake on Sony’s part, we suggest that you avoid purchasing games that are labeled as incompatible before an official word from Sony. We will keep you updated on the matter as soon as more comes in so stay tuned for all the latest news.
