One Piece: Unlimited World RED, the former 3DS exclusive game based on the One Piece series, has received today a Japanese release date for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Wii U versions of the game. These versions of the game will be released on June 12th.
Some of the first print run bonuses have also been confirmed for Japan. Gamers getting the game on release will be getting a limited DLC code for a special costume and additional quests where gamers can use Trafalgar Law and fight Doflamingo in a brand new scenario. Apparently Trafalgar Law can only be used in this bonus scenario.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red is the latest game of the One Piece: Unlimited series, developed by Ganbarion. The new game will retain some of the series’ trademarks like the item collecting and crafting while introducing some new features, like a multiplayer mode. The game has also been heavily influenced by the Monster Hunter series, as gamers will have the possibility to hunt some huge monsters that will roam the game’s maps.
One Piece: Unlimited World RED will also be released in North America and Europe on a yet to be confirmed 2014 release date. We’ll keep you updated on the matter as soon as more news come in so stay tuned.
