The Armored Core V server is going to be shut down later this month worldwide, From Software and Bandai Namco have recently announced.
The announcement has been made on the series Official Facebook Page. Both developers and publisher have thanked gamers for their support, confirming that a patch is going to be released before the server shuts down to allow gamers to continue playing the game offline.
The server of ARMORED CORE V will be shut down Worldwide on March 20th at 8 AM GMT.
Consequently, the team based battle won’t be available from then but a final patch will be applied to the game to allow you to continue the offline experience of ARMORED CORE V.
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Games wishes to thank all ARMORED CORE V gamers and the ARMORED CORE community all over the world for making the game a success and supporting the game.
On a related note, it’s also been confirmed that the Armored Core: Verdict Day is not going to be affected by this, allowing gamers enjoying the latest Armored Core game to keep playing online.
Armored Core V has been released back in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Armored Core: Verdict Day, set 100 years after the ending of the previous game, is also available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
