Last week some new next gen Watch_Dogs screenshots have emerged online, showing how the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will look. Unfortunately it looks like the game has received a graphical downgrade when compared to earlier footage. Still, with the game still unavailable, there’s no real way to tell if the game looks indeed worse than what it looked like a few months ago.
Watch_Dogs was originally going to be released at the end of 2013. However Ubisoft ended up delaying the game only a few weeks before release, stating that the team needed more time to polish the game further.
Watch_Dogs will be released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on May 27th. The WII U version will be released on a yet to be revealed date, as confirmed last week by senior producer Dominic Guay, who has shed some light on which team is developing this version of the game. One thing is certain: the Wii U version will take advantage of all the unique features of the latest Nintendo home console.
