Some new details on Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth have emerged today thanks to the latest issue of Famitsu.
According to the Japanese magazine, all the playable characters will be able to use multiple Personas, something only the main characters from Persona 3 and 4 were able to do in their respective games. This will definitely expand each character’s battle possibilities, allowing them to access a lot more skills than usual
Some new details have also emerged on the game’s battle system. Apparently attacking enemies’ weak points several times will allow characters to enter Boost mode. During this mode, all skills will cost 0 SP. Attacking during this mode may also trigger follow-up attacks and the series’ trademark all-out attacks.
Judging from these new details, it’s clear how the team is trying to offer something different from the mainline Persona games. Fans of the series will surely appreciate the effort.
Some Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth videos have emerged at the end of January showcasing the two new characters exclusive to this game. Included in the videos are multiple interactions with the other characters of the game.
Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth will launch on Nintendo 3DS in Japan this Summer. There are still no news on a possible Western release.
