It looks like Xbox exclusive game Titanfall was indeed planned for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation at some point, according to what has emerged online today.
NeoGaf forum member fade_ has discovered that both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 are mentioned in the texture files of the PC version if Titanfall. This is probably not too surprise, since both versions have probably been planned before EA decided to keep the game a Xbox exclusive. You can learn more about the matter by going here.
Earlier today Respawn’s Fairfax McCandlish has explained why Titanfall was designed to be inclusive. The general idea behind the game’s experience was that all play styles would be good to play the game while letting hardcore gamers play the game the way they prefer.
A few days ago the Titanfall beta has become open for all Xbox One owners. If you don’t have access to the beta you can check out these really nice Titanfall gameplay videos that emerged online last week.
Titanfall will launch on Xbox One and PC on March 11th in North America and on March 13th in Europe. The Xbox 360 version will be released a few days after the other versions of the game.
