New details have emerged this morning for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, the sequel to the original Theatrhythm Final Fantasy game released a few years ago on Nintendo 3DS.
The new Theatrhythm game is going to feature an even wider selection of songs taken from Final Fantasy related products. It’s been confirmed that Advent: One Winged Angel from the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie is going to be included in the game. Speaking about Final Fantasy VII, Zack is also going to be included in the game.
The latest issue of V-Jump has also confirmed that Yuna, Riku and Paine from Final Fantasy X-2 will be included as playable characters, together with Y’shtola from Final Fantasy XIV. Fans of Lightning will be able to know that a second version of the character taken from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be available.
V-Jump has confirmed that characters will be unlocked by collecting crystal fragments, just like in the original Theatrhythm.
Another new feature has been confirmed. According to V-Jump, the game will include a search function which will allow gamers to search for songs and even create playlists.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will launch on Nintendo 3DS sometime during Spring 2014. A Western release has yet to be confirmed.
