A few days ago Playstation 4 games have started appearing on the European Playstation Store ahead of the console’s launch, coming in less than two days. Many European gamers have been disappointed by the prices, however, since most of the games have higher prices than expected.
Sony has confirmed this morning that all prices on the Playstation 4 Store will be adjusted in the next hours.
The Japanese company has confirmed that all the Playstation 4 features currently found on the European PSN are not final, prices included. Everything has been done only to make sure that PSN works as intended once the console becomes available in Europe on November 29th.
“Although PS4 launches in Europe on the 29th November, we have switched on the European PSN early to test and make sure that features and functionality are fully operational for launch.”
“However, as PS4 and PSN have not yet officially launched in this region, nothing on the PSN is final, including pricing on the store. You will continue to see some prices adjusted over the next few days in preparation for launch on Friday.”
If you have already bought any of the overpriced Playstation 4 games on PSN, you will be refunded by Sony in the near future.
The Playstation 4 console is now available in North America. It will officially launch in Europe later this week, on November 30th. The next generation Sony console will be released in Japan sometime during February, as no Japanese developed game could be ready for a November release.
