Super Mario 3D World Gets Two New Gameplay Videos

Super Mario 3D World is going to be the first 3D Super Mario game to get released on Wii U. One of the most interesting features of the game is going to be the Gamepad’s use, which has allowed the team to create some interesting gameplay ideas.

A new video made available by Eurogamer showcases how players will be able to use the Gamepad’s screen to open additional paths in the levels or even reveal hidden enemies and items.

Another gameplay video has also been released today, featuring some gameplay footage taken from the Captain Toad’s bonus levels, which are going to be some short obstacle course where players will not be able to jump.

Super Mario 3D World is going to feature four playable characters, each one with his or her own special ability. Mario will be able to perform his usual bounce attack, Luigi will jump higher, Peach will be able to float briefly in the air thanks to her parasol and Toad will have increased speed.

Super Mario 3D World will be released on November 22nd in North America and on November 29th in Europe as a Wii U exclusive release.
