Gran Turismo 6 was one of the top Sony games that have been shown during the past Tokyo Game Show. Despite the series’ popularity all over the world, Sony had yet to release on the net any of the game’s footage that has been shown during the TGS.
The Japanese company has finally decided to release today the footage. The video, which can be seen on the official Playstation Japan Youtube Channel, is quite long and shows some interesting bits of the game. The Suzuka, Silverstone and Matterhorn tracks are also featured in the video.
One of the latest racing tracks revealed for the game is Bathurst, a challenging Australian track that has a long history, with its first race dating back to the 1938 Australian Grand Prix.
Gran Turismo 6 will be released on PS3 later in December in both North America and Europe. The game will be available as a standard and special Anniversary Edition, which includes a special steelbox and exclusive DLCs As Yamauchi confirmed around a month ago, the game will receive a day one patch, introducing a number of new features and enhancements.
A next generation version could also be released in the future, as revealed by Yamauchi himself some time ago.
