A new 10 minutes long video has surfaced today for Super Mario 3D World, the latest platform game starring everyone’s favorite plumber and his friends.
The new video, which can be seen by going here, showcases the game’s co-op mode. Judging by the new video, the game looks really, really fun. We still don’t know if Super Mario 3D World is going to be a worthy addition to the Super Mario series but the more the we know about the game, the more it looks like it will be an excellent game.
Super Mario 3D World has been heavily inspired by Super Mario 3D Land for the basic gameplay elements. The Wii U platform game, however, adds so many new gameplay elements that set it completely apart from the 3DS entry of the Super Mario series.
Like an older Super Mario game, players will be able to choose among four different playable characters, each one coming with a unique ability, with the exception of Mario and his well rounded characteristics. You’ll be able to run really fast using Toad, float in the air briefly with Peach and jump higher with Luigi.
Super Mario 3D World will be released on November 22nd in North America and on November 29th in Europe as a Wii U exclusive release.
