Vanille Will Come Back In Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
One of the main characters of the original Final Fantasy XIII, Vanille, will be coming back in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the game that will bring a close to the Lightning Saga.
Vanille is known in Lightning Returns as the saint who has awakened from the crystal. The young woman has received a new power following his awakening: the power to hear the voices of the dead. For this reason, she’s currently being kept in the Luxerion Salvation Temple.
You can check out how Vanille will look in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII by checking out a scan from the latest issue of Shonen Jump at the end of this post. Some small new details on the Yuna and Aerith costumes can also been seen on the scan.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is going to feature Lightning as the only real main character. While most of the characters that have appeared in the previous games will come back, only Lightning will be playable on the field and in battle.
In order to make the battle system work with a single character, the team created the unique costume system which allows Lightning to gain a lot of different abilities.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be released on February 11th in North America and on February 14 in Europe on PS3 and Xbox 360. The Japanese version will launch sometime during December.
