Medaka Kurokami and Misogi Kumagawa from the Medaka Box series will be among the characters found in the fighting game J-Stars Victory VS.
The news comes from the latest issue of Shonen Jump magazine. While Medaka Kurokami has been confirmed to be fully playable, it looks like Misogi Kumagawa will only be a support character. You can check out a scan taken from Shonen Jump detailing the two characters by going at the end of the post.
Meaka Kurokiami and Misogi Kumagawa are only the latest addition to the already impressive roster of J-Stars Victory VS. The confirmed characters are Son Goku and Vegeta from Dragon Ball, Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha from the Naruto series, Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin, Sakata Gintoki from Gin Tama, Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, Gon Freecs from HunterXHunter, Yusuke Hirameshi from YuYu Hakusho, Toriko from the series with the same name and a few more.
The game’s arenas will also be taken straight from some of the most successful manga series published on Shonen Jump. A couple of arenas have been already confirmed like Planet Namek from Dragonball Z, The Kingdom Of Alabasta from One Piece and Vegetable Sky from Toriko.
J-Stars Victory Vs is going to release in Japan before the end of the year on Ps3 and PsVita. No news on a possible North American or European release are currently available.
