Battlefield 4 will feature a lot of different vehicles that will end up making the gameplay experience more varied. Unfortunately a lot of players have had some problems with vehicle in the past and are not too willing to use them during competitive play.
DICE creative director Lars Gustavsson has revealed that his team knows about these small issues and that things will be different in the new Battlefield game: DICE will be including a test range designed to let players get accustomed with vehicle controls before using them in competitive play.
“We’ve definitely heard that people are afraid of getting in there and that’s not our intent, so what we’ve done is, we’ve added a test range, which allows you to try out all the hardware ahead of time.
“If you want to learn to fly a helicopter you can get in there and you can find the settings that work best for you. And then start doing some stunt flights just to feel safe before you go out and get the responsibility of a bunch of other people sitting in your helicopter, so I truly hope that this will help people feel more safe about trying out the whole battlefield.”
Battlefield 4 will be launching on Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc on November 1st. The game will also be released on next generation Ps4 and Xbox One on a yet to be revealed date.
A multiplayer beta for Battlefield 4 will start in early October on Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc.
