A new set of screenshots is now available for Sonic Lost World, the latest platform game starring SEGA’s Sonic The Hedgehog. This time the new screenshots showcase the extra contents included in the pre-order exclusive “Deadly Six Bonus Edition” which allows players to fight and defeat the Deadly Six in extra boss battles not found in the main game. This special edition also features an extra level which includes monsters inspired by another SEGA hit, NiGHTS into Dream. You can check out the new screenshots by going at the end of this post.
Sonic Lost World will be released on both Wii U and 3DS: while the basic game will be the same, some exclusive features will be included in both versions. On the Wii U players will be able to control the Color Powers using the Gamepad by tilting, touching and aiming; the Wii U version will also feature an Off-Tv play feature as well as a 2-player support mode. The 3DS version of Sonic Lost World will be the first Sonic portable game to feature 3D stages: Sega and Nintendo have also revealed that the 3DS version will have unique Special Stages and Color Powers.
Sonic Lost World will release on October 22nd in north America and on October 18th in Europe on Wii U and 3DS.
