Batman: Arkham Origins PC Won’t Be Using Games For Windows Live
Good news for PC gamers who are going to get the latest Batman Arkham game on their personal computers. It’s been confirmed that Batman: Arkham Origins on PC will not be using the Games For Windows Live platform, like the previous games of the series.
Batman: Arkham Origins on PC will use Steamworks so all PC gamers will be able to use the Steam friends list for the multiplayer portion of the game. Many PC gamers don’t really like the Microsoft platform so this will probably make more than one gamer happy.
In Arkham Origins players will be able to control a younger Batman as he fights younger versions of his many enemies as well as new ones that have never appeared in the series. The Batman in Arkham Origins will be a more “mythological” version of our favorite hero: the people of Gotham still don’t know him directly but have only heard of him thanks to his deeds.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be released on October 25th on Ps3, Xbox 360, Wii U and Pc. A portable spin-off game called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will be released on the same day for PsVita and 3DS, featuring a different gameplay style than the home console game.
