The Atelier series has been finally receiving some good recognition in the West, thanks to the latest games of the series getting released in both North America and Europe. If you haven’t had enough of the Atelier games, you’ll be happy to know that a new game of the series has been announced by Gust, the team behind the Atelier games, a remake of Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist Of Arland, released back in 2009 exclusively on Ps3.
The Atelier Rorona remake will be called New Atelier Rorona: The Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland and it will be released on both Ps3 and PsVita sometime during November. It’s not the first time that Gust releases an updated port of one of the game of the series but it’s the first time that an updated version gets released on Ps3 as well as on PsVita.
New Atelier Rorona: The Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland will receive some graphical updates and new game contents: the game will use Atelier Meruru Plus: The Alchemist of Arland alchemy system. The way items will be used in battle will also be influenced by Atelier Meruru Plus. Western players will be able to enjoy Atelier Meruru Plus: The Alchemist of Arland later next month, when it launches on PsVita in North America and Europe.
New Atelier Rorona: Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland will be released during November in Japan on Ps3 and PsVita. There are currently no news on possible North American and European releases: considering how popular the series has become in the West, there’s a high chance that the game will be released in the near future.
