Yesterday there was some news that was passing around the gaming community about Battlefield 4’s saves and how they will be locked to whatever platform you played on and would not carry over to other platforms. Realistically, that isn’t a whole lot different than Battlefield 3 and previous Battlefield games have worked, but there was a mild uproar over the idea of not being able to transfer Battlefield 4 saves and multiplayer stats from one platform to the next. It is in part due to how Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be released after the release of Battlefield 4 and that some players might opt to play Battlefield 4 on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and then on another console.
Well, DICE seem to be looking into this and trying to find a remedy for players, who haven’t really complained about it much in the past, but are now making an issue about it. It is still unclear if they’ll be able to come up with a solution for it, but fans can at least rest assured that DICE is looking into making this a reality.
