The new official Formula 1 racing game has finally been announced by Codemasters: F1 2013 will come with some expected features as well as some surprise ones that will make long time Formula 1 fans really happy.
F1 2013 will feature all the drivers, cars and circuits from the 2013 season, as well as all the rule changes that have been introduced in the ongoing championship. Together with the 2013 mode, players will also be able to enjoy a special Classic Mode: in this mode players will be able to select drivers taken from the 80s and race against modern ones.
Among the confirmed classic drivers are Nigel Mansell, Mario Andretti, Emerson Fittipaldi and Gerhard Berger. Some classic tracks will also be available like the Circuit De Jerez and Brands Hatch circuits. This mode can be played in custom championship, time trial and in offline and online multiplayer modes. Together with classic drivers and circuits, players will also be able to drive some classic cars from Ferrari, Williams and Lotus.
Among the playable game modes will be a Young Driver’s Test mode which will help newcomers learn the basics of the game.
