Call Of Duty: Ghosts is going to be one of the many Fall/Winter releases to get a current and next generation release. This “cross-generation” element isn’t going to be the only new thing for the series: apparently, Call Of Duty: Ghosts will also feature some kind of co-op contents.
The news came from the Twitter account of Candice Capen, Infinity Ward’s community coordinator, who has answered a fans’ question:
We’ll have a cooperative mode of sort, but we’re not announcing it yet and I’ve no clue when/if we will.
Judging from the answer, things have yet to be decided so a co-op mode may end up not getting included. Infinity Ward may have hinted so even to see if players would enjoy something like this so make sure to let them know if you’d like a co-op mode in Call Of Duty: Ghosts.
Call Of Duty: Ghosts will launch on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Pc on November 5th: all gamers pre-ordering the game before launch will receive the Free Fall map, an extra DLC map which will introduce some interesting gameplay ideas like the map changing dynamically depending on how gamers are playing the game. Call Of Duty: Ghosts will launch on Ps4 and Xbox One on a yet to revealed date.
