Black Ops 2 Double XP Weekend Starts On Friday On All Formats

Haven’t had enough of the multiplayer mode of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2? Good, because Treyarch has just announced that all players playing the game online on all formats will have an extra incentive to do so this weekend.

To celebrate the release of the Vengeance DLC pack coming on July 2nd on Xbox 360, Black Ops 2 will receive another Double XP weekend, meaning that all actions that net experience points in the multiplayer mode of the game will actually give double experience points.

Even though the Vengeance DLC only releases on Xbox 360 next week due to the timed exclusivity, Treyarch has decided to make the double XP weekend valid for all formats of the game. You can check out the Twitter post from Treyarch by going here.

The Vengeance DLC Map pack includes four new multiplayer maps called Cove, Detour, Rush and Uplink, a re-imagining of the classic Summit map. A new Zombie adventure will also be included: Buried will feature a new zombie mode weapon called the Ray Gun Mark II.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 is now available on Ps3, Xbox 360, Pc and Wii U. The Vengeance DLC pack should become available on Ps3 and Pc around a month after the Xbox 360 release.
