Eidos Montreal has confirmed that the next Thief game, a reboot of the series, will release simultaneously on all formats: Pc, Ps3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The announcement has been made with a special video that can be seen by going here. The game, however, still lacks a precise release date and it’s still scheduled for a generic 2014 release.
Thief 4 will star Garrett, a master thief who steals from the rich and powerful. Stealth will be a big part of the gameplay experience: Eidos Montreal wants to create the best Thief experience ever, allowing gamers to complete the game without killing or confronting any enemy if they so desire. At the same time there’s also going to be another gameplay system which will allow melee fights with enemies if players want to engage them. Players will also have a lot of freedom in reaching their goals: however the AI will do everything it can to cover the whole stages and prevent Garrett from reaching his objectives and completing his mission.
Some new details on the game have emerged during the E3: you can check out our report here.
Thief will launch sometime during 2014 on Pc, Ps3, Ps4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
