The Ps3 version of the latest game of the Blazblue series called Blazblue Chronophantasma, is going to get two exclusive extra characters. This morning new details have emerged on Yuki Terumi, one of the new characters.
Yuki Terumi’s drive skill is called Force Eater and it will allow her to absorb the opponent’s Heat Gauge. This is surely a nice skill that will become a deadly weapon when in the hands of expert Blazblue players.
Yuki Terumi is also going to be a pre-order bonus for the Japanese version of the game: all gamers who preorder the game will be able to use her as soon as the game launches.
Blazblue Chronophantasma will allow players to play through an all new Story Mode which will make the series’ plot move forward. The Challenge Mode will be greatly improved: all the playable characters will have missions to complete and players will also be able to use some new functions like Slow Motion and a key log function.
A new Score Attack mode will see players trying to win 10 matches without being able to use continues. Another new mode called Unlimited Mars has been revealed: in this mode players will have to fight more powerful versions of the usual characters. Unlike the Score Attack mode, players will also be able to save their progress. In the Unlimited Mars mode opponents will also have their own distortion drive: players looking for the ultimate Blazblue challenge will be getting what they’re looking for.
Blazblue: Chronophantasma will launch on Ps3 in Japan on October 24. The game has been confirmed for the West as well and it will release sometime next year.
