Well, we knew that EA UFC was coming as we’ve gotten enough teasers about it to last a lifetime, it seems. Today we finally got a little bit more about EA UFC, even if it is just a tiny bit. Today at E3 we saw Electronic Arts present a whole bunch of stuff, including dusting UFC president Dana White off to try to hype everyone up for the upcoming EA UFC title, which has been given a release date of “Spring 2014,” which is still vague, but better than nothing.
The extended trailer that they showed off showed the footage that we saw from the Xbox One reveal of Anthony Pettis landing the “showtime kick” on Benson Henderson, but also included a few more shots of what looks like it could be pre-rendered footage, but could be actual in-game footage, we just don’t know. On top of that they released some of the features of the upcoming game and if you are a MMA fan they sound pretty awesome. If you strike someone their body will show that impact, what they are calling “full body deformation.”
