Two new characters have been revealed for the upcoming J-Stars Victory Vs, a fighting game which will bring together characters from the most successful manga series published on the famous Shonen Jump magazine. Not much is currently known about the game: unlike previous games of the J-Stars series, Victory VS will be featuring full 3D graphics; the game will also retain the team battle gameplay experience featured in the previous games.
The game was originally announced back in December on Shonen Jump: the game is currently being developed to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Shonen Jump. The already confirmed characters are Son Goku from Dragon Ball, Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, Toriko from the series with the same name and Naruto Uzumaki from the Naruto series.
The latest issue of Shonen Jump has confirmed two new characters: Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin and Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach will be playable in the game. Both of them will bring their unique fighting style in Victory VS. You can take a look at the magazine scan confirming the two characters below.
J-Stars Victory VS will be released later this year by Namco Bandai on Ps3 and PsVita. No news on a possible North America and European release are currently available.
