Next week is going to be good for all Metal Gear Solid fans: Konami has confirmed that they will be revealing who is the new voice actor for Snake at their Pre-E3 show which is going to be held on June 6th at 10:00 PST. Let’s hope that Konami and Kojima have made a good choice: David Hayter’s voice and performances have been perfect for Snake and it’s going to be really hard replacing him.
Konami and Hideo Kojima have been at the center of controversy due to the decision to not bring back David Hayter to voice Snake: the actor wasn’t even called by KojiPro since Hideo Kojima wanted a new beginning for the Big Boss character, despite the Japanese Voice actor for Snake coming back to voice Big Boss in both The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes.
We still don’t know much about Metal Gear Solid 5, other than that it’s going to be split into two different games, both starring Big Boss. In Ground Zeroes we’re going to see what happened right after MGS: Peace Walker and the creation of Outer Heaven while in The Phantom Pain we will be witnessing all that happened after the attack on Outer Heaven and Big Boss entering a coma.
