It looks like Nintendo’s latest home console is going to get a new game in the future, despite the many problems the console is having all over the world due to incredibly low sales. What the console needs right now are some good third-party games and this is what Cristopher Seavor, creator of Conker’s Bad Fur Day, may be bringing in the future.
Cristopher Seavor, who was project leader for the original Conker on Nintendo 64 and for the Xbox remake, has recently expressed his desire to acquire some Wii U development kits before Winter: he stated on Twitter that:
“Wii U devkits ain’t cheap and it’s lookin likely Gory Detail is gonna need three at some point this year.”
Could this mean that a spiritual Conker sequel may be coming on the Wii U?
After leaving Rare Cristopher Seavor has founded Gory Detail: as of now the studio has released a single mobile game called Parashoot Stan last month and is currently developing another unnamed mobile game. The studio is definitely going to have its hands full in the upcoming months with the development of this yet to be named new Wii U game. Stay tuned for more.
