Tomorrow is May 21st, which for video game fans happens to be the day that has been marked off on calendars as the unveiling of Microsoft’s next Xbox console. It sure took them long enough, didn’t it? Speculation has been running wild as to what exactly will be featured in the latest Xbox, even though we already know the specs for the most part and can assume the games that will be featured. That is alright, though, as a big reveal is always fun, right?
According to some details from Microsoft over the weekend, expect a two-pronged approach to announcing the next generation of Xbox, starting tomorrow. The reveal on May 21st will be the unveiling of the console itself as well as Microsoft’s grand vision for the future of video games as a whole. That isn’t to say that there won’t be games, because there probably will be games shown, but the focus will not be on games. When will the games be focused upon? None other than E3, which goes down this June in California as always. E3, which many have criticized for losing some of the “magic” over the years due to more and more game events worldwide will feature big reveals from Microsoft for their next console on the software side.
