A new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist has been released today, showcasing the co-op mode of the game. The co-op mode of Blacklist will allow two players to complete four mission types and 14 maps. The co-op mode also has a split screen mode, allowing gamers to play the mode on the same console.
The two playable characters of the co-op mode will be Sam Fisher and CIA operative Isaac Briggs: only by working together they will be able to explore the map fully, cover each other in a fight and more. You can take a look at the trailer here.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will follow the events of the previous entry of the series, Splinter Cell: Conviction: Patricia Caldwell orders the corrupt Third Echelon terminated and all its operation ceased. Caldwell goes on into forming Fourth Echelon, drawing operatives from different agencies and appointing Sam Fisher as the new Fourth Echelon commander. The fight against the terrorist organization called Blacklist will be as fierce as ever.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be released on Ps3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC. Ubisoft has confirmed that the Pc version of the game won’t be a simple port of the console versions: a team is working exclusively on this version of the game, introducing optimized controls and special graphical options. The company has also confirmed that the Pc version of Blacklist will be getting some exclusive online features not available in the other versions.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be officially released on August 20 on all formats.
