Final Fantasy fans might be missing some content when Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remastered is released. The Japanese version of Final Fantasy X-2 came with an extra mission called the “Last Mission” and takes place three months after the events of the game. The “Last Mission” acts as sort of an epilogue for the game as you traverse up a giant tower; you converse with your teammates and other characters that sort of put a finishing touch on Spira.
However, at this point Square Enix hasn’t decided whether or not to include the “Last Mission” in Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remastered. It hasn’t been ruled out but at this point has not been included in Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remastered. The “Last Mission” also includes three new dress spheres and a Creature Create gameplay mode, where players can capture and train monsters.
It is probably not a good sign that Square Enix hasn’t made a decision one way or another this late in the development stage. But there is always the possibility they release it down the line as DLC, which I am sure everybody will love. As of right now the game has no official release date, so if they were to decide to include the content they could and push the game back slightly and I don’t think fans would be upset if they get the extra content. What do you think; would you mind Final Fantasy X HD Remastered being delayed to 2014 so Square Enix could include the “Last Mission” content?
