If you’ve been eagerly waiting for Sega’s upcoming action-brawler Anarchy Reigns, then get ready to break out the tissues and ice cream cause you’re in for a big disappointment.
Sega confirmed today that while the game is still slated for a July 5th release date inJapan, both the European and North American versions of the game have been pushed back to an as yet undecided date in early 2013.
This comes as unwelcome news for fans I’m sure since the game had already been delayed once before to an unknown date last month and while it may be nice to have at least a somewhat specific timeframe, I’m sure nobody is thrilled at having to wait until next year to get a taste of the widely-hyped title.
No specific reason was given for the delay and all Sega could say regarding the announcement was that the release window of Anarchy Reigns had to be “re-evaluated.”
