If there ever was a highly-anticipated shooter, I’d say that Battlefield 4 would be it. Sure, Call of Duty has more of an aura around and we all know that Call of Duty: Ghosts is going to sell a bajillion copies and that launch day will be on the news with guys in camo in line shouting “CALL OF DUTY!” awkwardly into the camera. That being said, Battlefield 4 has a lot of hype surrounding it because there is an air of uncertainty as to what the fourth installment will bring to the already acclaimed series, and if it can beat Call of Duty, or at least gain ground on it.
According to this report, a survey went out to some gamers and gave some details on upcoming DLCs for Battlefield 4 and they range from expected to downright weird. One of the DLCs is set to include upgraded, Frostbite 3 versions of Operation Metro and Caspian Border, as well as weapons and upgrades. The second is set to be naval combat, with new vehicles and a focus on coastal maps. The third is — apparently — a co-op mode that features dinosaurs (yes, you read that right) and primitive weapons such as bow and arrows.
Some of the DLC names listed are Recommissioned, Reenlisted, War Torn and Reconstructed. Of course, this is just a rumor, so who knows if all of it will be accurate.
