According to one report Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will not be coming to the Wii U on May 7th as first thought. A Square Enix representative reported that the release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut for the Wii U is still up in the air at this point. Retailers were responsible for setting the May 7th release date not Square Enix.
Square Enix is still standing by the game being released sometime in 2013, but will not confirm a set date at this point. We don’t even know if Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will come out in the winter or summer, which is never a good sign.
This is a game that Nintendo needs on their system as it will supposedly be the definitive edition of one of the best game released in the past few years. Hopefully we will know more soon, and if I had to guess at the latest we will probably get a release date during E3 or the Nintendo Direct conference before E3.
