Role playing game lovers have more than one reason to get a Nintendo 3DS: together with some good rpgs already available on the console, Shin Megami Tensei IV will be available in a few months in both Japan and North America. The North American version will be identical to the Japanese one so no content will be cut.
Earlier today Siliconera has posted a new video for the game: while nothing new is seen in the video, we finally get the chance to hear the english voice dub for the first time.
Shin Megami Tensei IV will improve on pretty much every gameplay element of the series: demons have overrun Tokyo as usual, and the characters will find themselves caught in the middle of their battle for control of the city. The game’s plot will have some minor variations thanks to the trademark karma system: player’s choices will ultimately affect the ending. The Press Turn system comes back once again, with a few new features which will make battle even more engaging. Demon fusion will also come back: Atlus stated that everything has been streamlined and players will have all the information they need without having to go through many menus like it was in the past.
Shin Megami Tensei IV will be available this Summer on 3DS. There are no news on a possible European release.
