Amanita Design has just confirmed the EU date for Machinarium on the PS Vita. The cool indie game will arrive in Europe on May 1st, and it’ll take advantage of the Vita’s many different capabilities. The game was released in the US for Vita back in March, and it didn’t take long for the game to come to Europe. Machinarium’s art and visual style has made it a standout among a ton of great indie games, and if you’ve been following Amanita Design for long, you would know that all of their games have had a unique art style.
“The PS Vita version makes no compromises. In fact, it’s even better! It includes all the enhancements from the PS3 version, but we’ve added some new features to complement PS Vita’s capabilities. You can now control the game not only with the system’s analogue sticks and buttons, but also directly with your fingers on the touch screen and rear touch panel. We’ve improved the zoom feature too, so it’s more convenient to play the game in a portable capacity,” Jakub Dvorský, Amanita Design Founder, explained.
The game will hit next week, and it will cost €5.99 and require 330 MB of storage space on your PS Vita.
