4J Studios has just announced that a new title update will be coming in the near future for the Xbox 360 version of the highly successful Minecraft. With 4J Studios working on some new additions, many gamers thought Title Update 11 would be bringing some new features to the game.
Unfortunately 4J Studios stated on Twitter that Title Update 11 is only going to fix some of the many bugs which have been plaguing the game ever since Title Update 9.
Slowdowns caused by explosions will finally be fixed with Title Update 11: they were supposed to be gone after the previous Title Update but players didn’t notice any true improvement on the issue. The messaging system will also be fixed, preventing spamming other player with the Spawn Egg message. Spawn limits issues will also be fixed and the number of item frames that can be placed in the world will be increased.
4J Studios has also explained the reason behind the choice to push a new Title Update with no new features included: new features require a longer time to develop and the slowdown issue has to be fixed as soon as possible since it’s really ruining the experience for many players.
No release window has been given for Title Update 11: we’ll keep you informed.
