Raymand Legends was originally developed as a Wii U exclusive, before being delayed and announced for Ps3 and Xbox 360 as well. Wii U owners didn’t really like the news, especially considering that the game was supposed to be available the same day the console was launched in the West. In response to the delay, the development team announced that they would be released the game’s Online Challenges mode for free on the Wii U eShop during April.
This mode features daily challenges based on one of five scenarios to be available in the main game: one of these scenarios will also be a Wii U exclusive scenario. The Online Challenges app will also feature online leaderboards and ghost functionality.
The Rayman Legends Online Challenges app will finally be available tomorrow: the Official Nintendo Magazine Uk has been given exclusive access to the game and they’ll be bringing some exclusive videos during the day. The first video, introduces the Daily Challenges set in the Neverending Pit: Rayman will have to descend the pit as quickly as he can, collecting lums as well.
Rayman Legends will be available later this year on Ps3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. A PsVita version has been recently spotted on some retail store online listing but it’s yet to be confirmed.
