Dragon Fantasy: Book I has been released last week on the Playstation Store as a cross-buy title for Ps3 and PsVita. The game is a quite engaging role-playing game looking and playing like one of the first console rpgs. The game takes a huge inspiration from the first Dragon Quest game: all battles are seen with a first person view and the difficulty level is quite high. The game’s plot is also quite funny and it never takes itself too seriously.
Unfortunately the game has been released with some bugs preventing gamers from fully enjoying it: the Ps3 version of the game often freezes for no apparent reason, making it almost impossible to complete the game. If no freezing happened with your copy, consider yourself very lucky. The game also has some balancing issues with the hit rate stat which makes battles harder than they should be.
Muteki had promised last week that a patch addressing these issues would be coming soon and today we can confirm that a patch is now available for the Ps3 version of the game: the patch is quite small so it won’t take you too much time to download and install it. The patch fixes both the freezing and the hit rate issues: download it as soon as you can and start enjoying Dragon Fantasy: Book I the way it was meant to be!
