Ubisoft released a new trailer today for Splinter Cell: Blacklist that examined some of the Wii U exclusive espionage tools. For starters, Wii U players will be able to map weapons and swap them on the GamePad. In addition, Wii U players will also be able to control the trirotor drone with the Wii U GamePad for more precise assassinations.
Wii U players will also be able to use the GamePad for better spy camera operation as the trailer shows the player moving the camera around with the GamePad to position the in game camera. Finally, Wii U players will also be able to mark targets with the GamePad by touching the screen on the controller.
The game has been looking very good to this point, but does not seem to have generated the same hype as previous Splinter Cell games. Hopefully the game will be as good as some of the trailers have made it look. Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be coming to the Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on August 20th.
