The faithful who are still grinding out the hours, days, weeks and months in Star Wars: The Old Republic since it went free-to-play will be happy to know that gameplay update 2.0 has gone live after a long wait. The update, which is aptly titled “Scum and Villainy,” was released today, including a lot of great new features that fans of the game have been waiting for, stuff like bringing the level cap up to level 55 and adding some much-needed new skills for the more advanced classes. Oh, and of course the big deal is the new operation, which is called “Scum and Villainy,” so that wasn’t just a cool name tacked on, it is part of an actual update.
To commemorate the release of Star Wars: The Old Republic getting patched to 2.0, BioWare has gone ahead and released a new trailer highlighting some of the new features to get everyone pumped up, as trailers are prone to do. So if you are still playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, now is the time to boot up, and if you aren’t, jump back in, it’s free-to-play.
