A new gameplay trailer is now available for Dragon’s Crown, the side scrolling action game developed by VanillaWare: Atlus will be publishing the game for both Ps3 and PsVita. After the original announcement, not much was known about the game; now that we’re getting closer to the Japanese release date, more details of the game are being unveiled. You can check out the new gameplay trailer by going here.
Dragon’s Crown will have some role-playing game elements, allowing gamers to improve their characters. Players will be able to play as one of six different classes, each one with their own strengths and weaknesses: special attacks and magic spells will be unlocked as characters gain experience.
The game’s stages will offer branching paths, opening up depending on what players do during the course of the stage like stealing an item from a specific monster and more.
Dragon’s Crown will also feature an online mode, allowing up to four players to play the game at the same time: an in-game pop up system will be used to quickly communicate between players.
Dragon’s Crown will be released this Summer in North America on PsVita and Ps3: the game will have some cross-platform functionality like a cross-save feature.
