The Tales Of Xillia panel at WonderCon 2013 is now over and new details about the North American and European version of the game are now available. Just as promised Hideo Baba, the series producer, was present at the presentation also confirming some interesting details for the series’ future in the West.
The main characters’ voice actors have been confirmed at the panel: Sam Riegel will voice Jude while Minae Noji will voice Milla Maxwell. Sam Riegel, who already voiced other Tales Of characters like Flynn Scifo from Tales Of Vesperia, was present at the panel and talked about his role as Jude.
Just like the most recent Tales Of releases in the West, the original Japanese intro song will be retained for the western version of Tales Of Xillia. It’s still unknown at this point if the song will be recorded again with English lyrics.
As a final news, Hideo Baba, aside from fully supporting the choice of voice actors for the game, stated that his team intends to shorten the wait between Japanese and Western releases: Tales Of Xillia has been released in Japan on September 2011. If Xillia gets released this September, it will be a two years long wait, too much in this day and age.
Tales Of Xillia will launch sometime during 2013 on Ps3: a new trailer for the game has been shown at Wondercon and you can take a look at it here.
